Las Vegas -Seperti Google dan Apple, BlackBerry juga ingin berkecimpung di dunia mobil otonom. Baru-baru ini BlackBerry melalui divisi QNX memamerkan sebuah perangkat lunak pendukung mobil otonom di ajang Consumer Electronics Show (CES) di Las Vegas.

Seperti dilansir CNBC, Rabu (13/1/2016), di CES BlackBerry mendemonstrasikan perangkat lunak itu bagaimana bisa berkomunkasi dengan kendaraan lain. Perangkat ini juga bisa mendeteksi lampu lalu lintas dan mencegah tabrakan.

Komunikasi antar kendaraan (vehicle to vehicle) membantu sebuah kendaraan untuk mengetahui ketika kendaraan lain mengerem dengan tiba-tiba. Sistem akan membantu mobil menangani situsasi itu.

BlackBerry juga menunjukkan bagaimana perangkat lunak ini dapat melakukan analisis lalu lintas secara realtime yang akan menjadi bentuk dasar untuk mobil otonom.

Apple finally officially released its latest smartphone, the iPhone and the iPhone 6S 6S. The second flagship phone it introduced Apple CEO Tim Cook in the event at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium, San Francisco, USA.
